The College Experience

N.C. State Student Rushes Court in Wheelchair
Have you ever had a college experience that was stupid and amazing all at once?  Yesterday, N.C. State student Will Privette was launched from his wheelchair, while storming the court, following the Wolfpack’s basketball victory over the #1 ranked Duke Blue Devils.  Student Will Privette, born with leg deformities, has been in a wheelchair his entire life.  Despite his physical confinements, Will was born with a risk-taking personality.  So brave that he let the student body president, push him onto the court to celebrate the Woflpack win.  In the video Will was one of the first few onto the court.  As more fans arrived, Will Privette was jolted from his wheelchair to the floor.  Fortunately C.J. Leslie (Wolfpack Center) saw the event occur and picked him up before any harmful damage was done.  Winthrop Freshman David Rice said, “It was probably pretty exciting for him until he left the wheelchair.”  Privette felt similar stating, “It was the dumbest thing I’ve done in college but it was awesome.”  If you have a story to tell, much like Will does, leave a comment in the box below.
